Gakuen iDOLM@STER, the latest hit in the long-running iDOLM@STER series, launched in May 2024. In this school-themed spin-off, players take on the role of a producer scouting and training aspiring idols at the academy, Hatsuboshi Gakuen.

Among its standout characters is Tsubame Amaya, a third-year student in the Idol Division and vice president of the student council. Known as the academy’s No. 2 idol, Tsubame pairs top-tier talent with stoic intensity.

Gakuen iDOLM@STER is a wildly popular entry in the iDOLM@STER series of simulation games, officially released in May 2024. Fans of Gakuen Idolmaster, rejoice! The hit Japanese idol-training game has recently included a new playable idol as of November 16th, 2024, as part of its half-year anniversary. This idol is none other than Sena Juo, the “Prima Stella” who won the previous year’s Hatsuboshi Idol Festival!

Originally introduced as one of the rival idols, Sena Juo is the student council president of Hatsuboshi Gakuen and the granddaughter of Kunio Juo. Her elite upbringing has made her a cut above the rest, earning her the title of the “Academy’s Top Idol” and the adoration of many fellow students. Though immensely talented, her ability to recognize idol talents makes Sena her own worst critic, and she struggles with the idea that she might have already peaked with little room for growth. Regardless, she eventually learns to step out of her comfort zone and aspire to even greater heights.

In this game, players can meet the character Hiro Shinosawa, one of the ten idols studying in the Idol Department. Due to her lack of stamina and athletic abilities, she struggles in her idol lessons, but she welcomes a good challenge and isn’t afraid of a tough, soul-crushing lesson or two. While she may not be gifted in the athletic department, her intellect more than makes up for it, having graduated from a university overseas at the tender age of 14.
