Apex Legends is a hit FPS battle royale game that was released in 2019. It has over 10 million players worldwide and is scheduled to be released on the Nintendo Switch on March 10th, 2021. The game was created by Respawn Entertainment (famous for their Titanfall series). It features a cast of characters, called “Legends”, which all have their own unique set of skills and abilities. The player selects one of these characters and joins a 3-person team. At the end of the match, the surviving members of the last team standing are dubbed the Apex Champions. A particular appeal of this game, as opposed to other Battle Royale-style games, is that the characters not only bring their abilities, but also in-game and episodic interactions between the other Legends.

On February 2nd, 2021, the game has entered Season 8 (titled “Mayhem”). A new Legend named Fuse has been added to the cast and there’s been a surge in Apex Legends fan art. Take a look at these awesome Legends, including Wraith, Bangalore, Wattson, Bloodhound, and Gibraltar!

Who’s your favorite Legend to play?

Back in the 1990s, no one could talk about video games without mentioning the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and the same could be said about RPGs and Square Co., Ltd. (now Square Enix Co., Ltd.), which created many smash-hit RPG titles during the era. The RPG titles that Square released back then continued to push the boundary of RPG, of what an RPG could achieve, and many of the systems that we take for granted today were first established in the 1990s. Active Time Battle, a flexible scenario, multiple endings, a New Game with a higher level of difficulty... Are you familiar with these systems and more?

Today, we're featuring illustrations of the RPGs that Square released in the 1990s, including some Final Fantasy titles. Enjoy!

We’re talking about the brand new video game “NieR:Automata”, which was released on February 23rd and that features everything you should look for in a game: an unique setting, enormous machines, a gigantic map complete with huge wastelands you can have fun exploring and fascinating characters. It’s only been one week since the game came out, but artists all over the world have already been drawing a lot of fan arts! So do yourself a favor and believe in yourself too”

It has been a month since the release of the latest addition to the highly popular high speed deduction action game Dangan Ronpa, New Dangan Ronpa V3 on 12 January 2017. It sold over 100,000 copies, despite there only being a sneak peak to Chapter 1 online. In the game, the characters kill each other, through a court trial to decide who goes next, and the thrilling story, deduction skills required and eccentric characters are the perfect ingredients for a recipe for success. The change in setting from the familiar Kibougamine Gakuen to Saishu Gakuen breathes new life into the attractive suspense game.

Today, we have a collection of fanart for New Dangan Ronpa V3. For those of you who have already played the game, to recall the gameplay as you scroll through these illustrations. For those of you who have yet to, I’m sure you’ll find a character you really like amongst these. Will your favorite character kill? Or be killed? Or will he/she be the last one standing? Find out in the game itself!

The confined territory of the Yggdrasil Labyrinth has long been closed off. Adventurers from around the world are braving the maze, but who knows what they will find once they finally reach its depths!
Today, on August 4, Etrian Odyssey V Nagaki Shinwa no Hate has been released for the Nintendo 3DS. Etrian Odyssey is a dungeon crawler RPG in which you explore and map a maze by yourself. One of the appeals of the game is the high degree of freedom in its character customization. You are able to choose the appearance, voice and class of your party members. You can also select the color of their hair, skin and eyes. Since the exploration and characters depend on the player, the game really feels as if they had prepared an excursion of their own.
Four years have already passed since the last game, so we have collected fanart in anticipation of the release of the newest Etrian Odyssey. Enjoy!

Cute, but slightly horror-like - that’s right, we’re talking about the battle game, Skullgirls. Skullgirls was originally a fighting game developed in the US. As its fan base gradually increased in size, Skullgirls 2nd Encore was finally released for the PS4 and PSVita.
Falling under the special genre of cute battle game, its main feature is the fact that almost all the girls that appear in the game are not humans. In stark contrast to their cute faces, Skullgirls characters show off their superhuman moves, and we will feature them here on pixiv today!
