                                            <p><i>Detective Conan</i> (also known as <i>Case Closed</i>) is a very popular manga series by Gosho Aoyama that has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday since January 1994.</p><p><br /></p><p>Among its roster of iconic characters is Ai Habara, who gets her time in the spotlight in the new movie <i>Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine</i>. The movie debuted on Friday, April 14th, 2023, and made over 5.8 billion yen at the box office in just ten days.</p><p><br /></p><p>Originally a scientist who worked for the secret crime syndicate The Black Organization, she was in fact the person who developed the test compound APTX 4869 which shrunk Shinichi Kudo into his Conan Edogawa form. She ended up using APTX 4869 herself in order to escape from The Black Organization and now lives as Ai Habara.</p><p><br /></p><p>If you're a huge fan, you can look forward to a thrilling story set in the oceans near Hachijojima.
