Pokémon Winds & Waves are the brand-new titles in the hugely popular Pokémon series. Set among breezy islands and the vast surrounding seas, the game introduces a fresh region filled with new places to explore and exciting new encounters. It’s currently scheduled for release in 2027 on the Nintendo Switch 2.

At the beginning of the adventure, players choose a partner from three Pokémon. These important companions become your very first ally on the journey, and fans affectionately refer to them as “starter” Pokémon.

This time, the lineup includes Browt, the Grass-type chick Pokémon; Pombon, the Fire-type puppy Pokémon; and Gecqua, the Water-type gecko Pokémon. Each one has its own unique personality and charm. Although the game is set to release in 2027, fans are already buzzing with excitement over these adorable new Pokémon and posting tons of fan art online.
