"Surrealism..."<p></p><p>We honestly can't tell whether these illustrations are supposed to be funny or serious.</p><p>The word "surreal" refers to a dreamlike worldview, and although these illustrations look like they have a deep meaning that goes beyond pictures and words... They only show situations that transcend reality. These illustrations will leave you confused. Take a look at them, or watch them carefully: are they still meaningless to you?</p><p>Today we feature a number of atmospheric surreal illustrations. Enjoy!</p>

There's something odd about these illustrations! Sometimes it's the text on them... or the sound that the character makes... or the caption... gosh, just everything about it seems contradictory!
A lot of these memes and contradictory ideas came from 2 Channel's web forum. During intense internet arguments people just want to let the other person know it's not a big deal and start posting these silly ASCII/Unicode arts that just try to show absurdness that express "hey! calm down!"
Today's Spotlight are illustrations inspired by these crazy contradictions! Check them out!

Ever watched your favorite anime and noticed that there were sponsors? Sometimes, it's by chance but the text shows up perfectly right over the character's eyes! If you see it, you're lucky! Maybe...
It doesn't matter what kind of face the words are over--they look interesting! Check out these illustrations that show... "Sponsor Eyes"...!

Have you heard of the German suplex? It's a wrestling move where the wrestler stands behind the opponent and and throws them backward onto the ground.
On pixiv, there's a series of images with the idea of "My Wife/Spouse's Certain-Kill Move" and features various characters doing the German suplex on another. Check out these painful looking images!
