But another theory suggests it prefers to stick by the side of young men dressed as women. Perhaps though, the unicorn is merely attracted to someone with a beautiful heart that loves nature and animals.

The Mythical Unicorn

This creature that spans across many legends around the world and has a horn sticking out from the center of it’s forehead is called the unicorn. Their bravery allows them to confront other animals who’s size may be even bigger than their own, and they are also purported to have magical healing properties to eradicate poison and even heal. The most shared knowledge about the unicorn is that only a genuine and pure of heart maiden may be able to tame one. Those of sound mind and body only add to the image of a sacred animal. However, one would be surprised to know that the unicorn is also used to represent “rage” in the Seven Deadly Sins. This prevarication is only because the unicorn is not one to show mercy in trespasses.

As these creatures are listed in the magic book “Goetia”, they are often referred to as “Goetic demons”. They appear in sci-fi and fantasy novels, as well as in video games - even if you’re not familiar with Goetia, you probably heard of them! From a humanoid demon with a lion head to a flying lion… Every demon differs from the others, and they are great source of inspiration for artists all over the world.
