Most of us have probably dreamt of being a bird at some point in our lives. The way they soar high above us, wings flapping as they travel to faraway places, is a peaceful sight to behold; perhaps even filling us with longing to do the same. While they certainly look graceful when flying, birds also have a silly side to them and can be an adorable and healing presence. (Care for a wiggling budgie video, anyone?)

Birds freely soar through the skies in such a way that it often makes us humans quite envious. To be able to dance among the clouds and get a bird’s eye view of the world from above is a feat that has only been available to us since the invention of the skyscraper and the airplane. Perhaps our beloved winged friends will continue to inspire us to new heights.
