On pixiv, there are occasionally community challenges and movements done under certain tags. Among these is ワンドロ (wan doro, translated as “one hour drawing” on pixiv), in which creators try their hand at completing an illustration in just one hour.

When an artist is a master of their craft, churning out sketches in such a short amount of time is no biggie. Are you impressed by the level of detail in some of the illustrations below?

Do you ever draw when you want to relax? Maybe you like to doodle a little in your notebooks when on a break from studying or work... Sometimes, your sketches end up turning by miracle into a real master piece. These kind of images are tagged by their authors as “doodles”. On pixiv, there are illustrations thought to be simple scribbles by their artist who receive the tag “what's a doodle” as a compliment.
