Overalls, originally created as protection for more formal attire, have evolved into becoming a popular look of their own. Not only is their classic denim material super durable, but it’s also comfortable enough to wear while you’re working in the garden or relaxing on a grassy hill. Characters seen rocking this look are often bounding with too much energy to be caught wearing anything delicate or fancy.

Overalls have been a part of Mario’s (from the Super Mario Bros. franchise) look since his creation back in the 1980s.

Overalls have been a popular item of clothing for ages. They are trousers with breastplates and suspenders, and originally they were used as work clothes since they are comfortable, easy to move in and easy to wear.

There used to be an image that they were made with strong denim material, but recently we can find not only trousers but also skirt types, with various shapes and fabrics, and we started to call them "Salopettes" (the French denomination for overalls).
