                                            <p>Have you heard the term “hair intake”? It refers to tufts of hair that hang over the bangs, forming a layer of their own. It’s a look used time and time again for anime and manga characters so you’ve almost certainly seen a few examples. It not only adds an extra bit of volume to the hair, but it also makes the face appear smaller and cuter. </p><p>Sakura Kinomoto (from the <i>Cardcaptor Sakura</i> franchise) is one of the most well-known examples of characters with this hairstyle.</p><p>Have a look at the illustrations below and see if there are more layers to any of them than you expected. </p><p></p>
