Goldfishe: Red Dresses Dancing In The Water
Seeing goldfish swim gracefully with their beautiful fins dancing into the water is quite fascinating, isn’t it? It is said that the goldfish we see today come from a generic variant of the crucian carp. Porcelain fish bowls were used so that you could see the fish from above in Edo era, but glasses were manufactured in the Netherlands in the 19th century and glass fish bowls became popular making it possible to look at the fishes from all sides. This means that people started requesting for more beautiful goldfish that could awe the spectators. In the contemporary world, it’s not rare to enjoy goldfish through artistic performances featuring illuminations and projection mappings.
Today we collected beautiful illustrations of goldfish. Enjoy!
