Today is Tennis Day!
Set by the Japan Tennis Association in 1998, September 23rd is Tennis Day. Coinciding with Autumnal Equinox Day, it’s a cooling autumn holiday where many might choose to play tennis. With many Japanese players like Kei Nishikori emerging on the global arena, the tennis fever is definitely heating up here. The echo of the ball hitting the court, the psychological battles between players in a furious battle, fashionable tennis wear….It’s fun watching matches through the screen, but it’s great to feel the sweat dripping down your face against the cool autumn breeze.
