Gakuen Handsome: Chaos, Chins & Hot Guys

“And as the gates opened, out stepped handsome guys--”. Do you guys recognize this catchphrase, belonging to the BL(yaoi) game Gakuen Handsome? At first glance, no one would think of calling these strange characters with their pointy-chins “handsome”, but somehow this BL game with its chaotic narrative can’t help but draw you in.

Roughly 6 years passed since art student “Team Yokkyū kusa Mitsuru” (loosely translating to “full of rotting desire”) developed and released the game in 2010. The game hasn’t lost any of its popularity, and a long-awaited anime adaptation was finally announced for broadcast in Fall 2016.
