A “space station” is a place where astronauts live and do their research while orbiting the earth’s girth. Sometimes if you’re at the right place at the right time, look up and you’ll be able to see space stations cutting through the night sky like shooting stars. And it isn’t without a good reason; apparently, space stations that we can only see from earth for a split second fly at a height of 400 kilometers above ground and at a speed of 8 kilometers per second! When we let it dawn on us that the day everyone gets to experience a life where 90 minutes equal one lap around the earth is drawing near, we can’t help feeling giddy and excited.
This time, we’re featuring illustration of “space stations” which make people want to experience living in a zero-gravity environment. Enjoy!
