Swaying like curtains. Wisteria Drawings
When a breeze blows through a fully blooming "wisteria" tree, the flowers will sway gently along with the breeze like little tinkling bells. The longer we spend walking under thousands of dangling wisteria trellis flowers, the more the air feels and smells like it's been dipped in a pool of wisteria. The sight of sunlight gently filtering through the large expanse of flower curtains is a scenery so magical that we can't help but be fascinated by it.
And so it hardly comes as a surprise that wisteria has several romantic meanings to it, such as "drunk with love" and "I'll never leave you".
Today, we're featuring illustrations with the theme of "wisteria", a flower that reminds us of a clean and elegant long-sleeved furisode. Enjoy!
