As the end of summer draws near, more and more people go to temple or firework festivals in yukata. The tight grip of the sash around our waist prompts us to straighten our posture and clear our mind. Also, in order to keep the cloth from getting disheveled, we try to move around slowly and as a result, our gestures appear more refined than usual. The way the detailed patterns of the cloth move in accordance with our body transforms what's supposed to be a sweltering landscape into a refreshing one.
Today, we're featuring illustrations of "yukata", a piece of clothing that makes summer look cuter and more refreshed. Enjoy!
