In most regions today, washing clothes is fairly simple, and aprons aren’t needed nearly as much to keep clothes from getting dirty. But it’s still a good idea to wear one for certain tasks. In particular, cooking, serving, and gardening can be quite messy. Some companies even incorporate an apron into their uniform.
For better or worse, when a man wears one, especially at home, it can also make him seem kind and caring. It also seems to imply he helps with household chores.
