Fan Art of VShojo's Group Members - Putting the “Show” in VShojo
If you’re even just a casual fan of virtual YouTubers, or VTubers as they’re commonly called, there’s no doubt you’ve heard the name VShojo.
This entertainment company, which first hit the scene in November 2020, was the brainchild of a YouTube content creator and one of the founders of the Twitch streaming service. VShojo has the distinction of being among the very first VTuber companies launched in the U.S., helping pave the way for future virtual superstars from English-speaking countries.
As of now, there are eight entertainers in their ranks, each with their own unique style and charisma. Although a few of the girls had already made their VTuber debut before joining the VShojo family, this team of virtual vixens has amassed legions of loyal and eager fans.
The group has also made a splash on Twitch. In October 2021, Ironmouse and then-newcomer Veibae were among the top 10 female streamers on the platform. On February 15, 2022, Ironmouse had surpassed one million followers following a record-breaking subathon, making her Twitch’s most subscribed female streamer. A few days later on the 20th, she hit 93,000 subscribers, making her the most followed Twitch streamer at the time.
It certainly feels like this is only the beginning for both these ladies and this company as virtual entertainment continues to expand and reach fans all over the world. It’ll be interesting to see what’s next for Nyatasha Nyanners, Projekt Melody, Apricot (Froot), Zentreya, Silvervale, Ironmouse, Hime Hajime, and Veibae.
