Hydrangeas are a widely cultivated flower that come in a variety of beautiful colors. Their wide color spectrum, which stems from the quality of the surrounding soil, is why hydrangeas are said to symbolize shifting moods. One of the most popular colors, however, is a sort of light purple, which is commonly seen during Japan’s rainy season which starts around mid-June.

Being akin to a plant himself, Bulbasaur (from the Pokémon franchise) looks like he’s enjoying tending to his little garden.
