June 13th, 2024 is the season finale of the much beloved Delicious in Dungeon anime! Written and illustrated by Ryōko Kui, Delicious in Dungeon was originally serialized in the seinen manga magazine Harta from February 15th, 2014, to September 15th, 2023. It was later adapted into an anime television series that premiered on January 4th of this year to the delight of fans everywhere.

In a world where dungeon expeditions and monsters abound, Laios Touden and his party are one of the many adventurers’ parties hoping to find the mysterious Golden Kingdom. The story begins when the group fails at their attempt to slay a red dragon, resulting in the leader’s sister, Falin Touden, being consumed whole as she sacrifices herself to teleport them to safety. Determined to save Falin before the dragon digests her, Laios and the remaining party members embark on a perilous quest to the dungeon’s depths, sustaining themselves by cooking dungeon monsters—often with delicious results!—along the way.
