The pilot for the independently animated Hazbin Hotel was released in 2019. The story focuses on Charlie, a princess of Hell and founder of the Happy Hotel. She’s optimistic to the point of naivety, but she firmly believes all the damned souls of hell have a chance at redemption.

Unlike most western animation, Hazbin Hotel is geared for adults. The humor is unsuitable for children, although still within the range of permissibility on YouTube.

After the author Mo Xiang Tong Xiu finished the now-famous Mo Dao Zu Shi novel, she began work on Heaven Official’s Blessing (Chinese: 天官赐福, Tiān Guān Cì Fú). In mainland China, the book was published on June 16th, 2017, and the anime adaptation for it started airing in October 2020.

The story follows the life of Xie Lian. He was originally a human prince who cared immensely for his people, and he ascended to godhood at the age of seventeen through strict training. However, he ends up getting banished. Multiple times. He eventually meets a ghost king, Hua Cheng, who has been watching him for a very long time...

The Japanese dub of the anime started airing this month, and as such, there’s been a lot of hype. Take a look at some of the works on pixiv featured below. Are you rooting for the love between Xie Lian and Hua Cheng?

The Japanese dub of the anime adaption of the famous Chinese novel, Mo Dao Zu Shi (also known as Madou Soshi in Japan), started airing on January 10th, 2021. The story is based in ancient China, with a fantasy twist, and has wonderfully charming characters. It has an immensely passionate fanbase in Asia.

Wei Wuxian is the protagonist of the series. Through his skill in his spiritual abilities, he earned the title of Yiling Patriarch and he protected people from ghosts, demons, and the like until his death 13 years prior to the start of the series. When he is resurrected, he meets his friend Lan Zhan and they’re reunited. The plot is complicated and emotional, capturing the hearts of many fans.

Undertale is an American RPG written by an indie developer, Toby Fox. The protagonist can choose between two routes, depending on his choices during the game.
