Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker is the fourth expansion pack to the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV and the fourth installment in this series of fan art compilations on pixivision!

As with its predecessor, Shadowbringers, this expansion received much acclaim thanks to its extensive worldbuilding, intricate plot, and elements that allow players to enjoy not just battles and quests but slow living as well. With over 30 million registered accounts worldwide, Endwalker continues to be a popular expansion to the series.

The latest expansion for Final Fantasy XIV, Dawntrail, goes on sale on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024! Early access will become available to users who pre-ordered the game on Friday, June 28th, 2024.

Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers is the third expansion pack for the critically acclaimed MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV. And it’s the third installment in this series of fan art compilations on pixivision!

The Warrior of Light (who serves as the player’s character) is led by a mysterious voice on a quest to help save Norvrandt from a path of destruction… at the hands of light-affiliated creatures.

This expansion received almost universal acclaim, both for the story elements and gameplay that was enjoyable for both new and veteran players. The important characters quickly became much-loved by fans and have been the subjects of a wide variety of fan works on pixiv.

If you’re unfamiliar, Final Fantasy XIV is an MMORPG developed and published by the renowned game studio, Square Enix. While the initial release of the game in 2010 was considered a commercial failure, a major rehaul titled Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn was released in 2013 and was followed by the Heavensward expansion in 2015.

The warm reception to Heavensward led to the release of the Stormblood expansion in 2017 to critical acclaim. It brought players an increased level cap, updates to the battle system for existing combat classes, two new character classes, and the ability to swim.

And now, thanks to the success of these previous additions, the latest Endwalker expansion pack has been released, and we're commemorating this with a fan art compilation from Stormblood! What do you think of the illustrations below?

If you’re unfamiliar, Final Fantasy XIV is an MMORPG developed and published by the renowned game studio, Square Enix. The initial release of the game in 2010 was considered a commercial failure, and after a heavy revamp of the system and content, A Realm Reborn was released in 2013.

The new release addressed a lot of the criticisms, and the fan base has gradually grown over the years. In October 2021, there were over 24 million registered users. This massive fanbase has spurred the release of a series of expansions, including Heavensward. The newest one, Endwalker, is scheduled for release on December 7th, 2021!

To commemorate the release, we’re compiling some of the best fan art from the series. But this game and its expansions are so massive that it’d be impossible for a single article to cover everything! As such, our first compilation just focuses on a Realm Reborn and Heavensward.
