While cherry blossoms are the first flower most people think of in regard to spring, plum blossoms are known to signal the coming of it. With their delicate round petals and soft pink hues, plum blossoms are the daintier messenger of the two, signaling the arrival of spring before giving way to cherry blossoms as the weather gets warmer.

Do you pay attention to plum blossoms when they bloom? If not, take a closer look at them to appreciate their beauty the next time you see one!

Have you ever tried an umeboshi? These sour, dried plums are delicacies that have long since been adored in Japan. So much so that July 30th has been declared Umeboshi Day. On this day, people tend to flock to local plum trees and admire the fruits of their labor. Why not enjoy some plums or some umeboshi yourself and join in the celebration?

Ayaka Kimisato (from Genshin Impact) looks almost as delicate and beautiful as the plum blossoms she’s standing near.

Have you acquired a taste for any of the lovely works of art below?
