Have you ever tried an umeboshi? These sour, dried plums are delicacies that have long since been adored in Japan. So much so that July 30th has been declared Umeboshi Day. On this day, people tend to flock to local plum trees and admire the fruits of their labor. Why not enjoy some plums or some umeboshi yourself and join in the celebration?
