Fan Art of Kasane Teto - October 10th is Teto Day!
Kasane Teto was originally created as a fictional VOCALOID on April Fools' Day, a playful hoax that took on a life of its own. Eventually, a voicebank was created for her for the singing synthesis software UTAU, and she went on to become a beloved virtual singer whose voice has been featured in countless songs.
She is recognizable by her deep-red hair styled into drill-shaped pigtails and her predominantly grey and red costume. The variety of songs, illustrations, and other creative works produced by fans is one of the things that makes Kasane Teto so special. October 10th is celebrated among fans as Teto Day, as 10/10 can be read as “te-to” in Japanese.
