Fan Art of Touhou Project

Touhou Project, created in 1996, is a sprawling creative work by ZUN of Team Shanghai Alice. Centered around bullet hell shooting games and expanded across various media, the complex original world and cast of vividly distinctive characters are beloved by fans.

The story unfolds in Gensokyo, a realm sealed off from the outside world by a great barrier. Reimu Hakurei, the shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine, and Marisa Kirisame, a witch, join the diverse inhabitants of Gensokyo—including youkai, fairies, gods, and countless other beings—in confronting the strange incidents that arise throughout this fantastical land. The dreamlike music, breathtaking bullet patterns, and the enduring charm of its characters have captivated fans for decades.
