One of the biggest signs two people are comfortable with each other is when one rests their head in the other’s lap. Not only does this gesture require a certain level of trust, but it’s also a show of vulnerability, as you’re essentially surrendering yourself to the other person. It can also feel incredibly intimate, and the warmth emanating from your companion’s lap can make you feel like a child who’s protected and cared for.

Don’t these characters look absolutely peaceful and at ease with each other? Some of them may be napping, so be careful not to wake them up!
