"Imo-kenpi" Parody Drawings

I thought he wanted to kiss me, but he only leaned it to take a sweet potato stick (imo-kenpi) that got stuck in my hair. I feel so embarrassed I could die!

A boy touching a girl's hair is a classic scene that we can find in a shoujo manga, but a particular scene in Imo-kenpi wa Koi o Yobu (The Love of Sweet Potatoes) was so different and shocking. Since then, a great number of parody illustrations have appeared, reenacting the scene where the boy in the manga gracefully takes out a sweet potato stick from the girl's hair.
