The cosmic rays of the solar winds, filled with ions and electron reach the Earth show a beautiful light called aurora. There are the Northern Lights and the Southern Lights, creating a fantastical natural light spectacle... it's often on people's bucket lists. In many fantasy stories, going into the aurora takes you to a completely different world.
