It's been a year since Yomi's pet cat Kuro crossed the rainbow bridge, but Yomi still lives with her lingering grief. One day, she stops by the vacant lot where she found Kuro, and discovers unusual cats(?) that can speak human language... This fast-paced comedy has cute character designs and a charmingly chaotic energy.
Who hasn't had the experience of worrying that they've done the wrong thing, even though they had good intentions? Everyone has experienced the resulting loss in confidence and confused, resentful sadness. This story is set in Japan, where society rules that you ought to stand on the left side of the elevator to leave the right side open for walking, and features a young girl attempting to assert herself in a world she is still learning to navigate.
