Written and illustrated by Yusei Matsui, creator of Assassination Classroom, The Elusive Samurai is a Japanese historical manga series based on the historical figure of Hōjō Tokiyuki, the heir to the Hōjō clan before Ashikaga Takauji caused its downfall. The story has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump since January 2021 and is gaining attention due to it being Yusei Matsui’s first series in five years.
