Have you ever been jump-scared by a skeleton? For many of us, skeletons can elicit a visceral sort of feeling, perhaps due to them being a reminder of what we’ll all become one day. If you can get past their eeriness, however, they can make an excellent motif in your illustrations, especially if you’re trying to portray a gothic or somber mood.
