Today, Feb 9th, is Pro Wrestling Day in Japan! In 1995, Japan had its first, full-blown 2 vs 2 international pro wrestling match between the Sharpe Brothers tag team from Canada and Rikidōzan/Masahiko Kimura tag team. The event was held at Kuramae Kokugikan which was normally a sumo sports venue. Pro wrestling is known for its ring costumes, the entering the ring performances, and unique techniques each wrestler uses on their opponents... it's really invigorating to watch! I bet there's a lot of people who have wanted to imitate some of the moves after watching a good pro wrestling match. Today's Spotlight is showing off ring costumes and pro wrestling techniques to celebrate Pro Wrestling Day! Check them out!
