Created by Tatsuki Fujimoto, Chainsaw Man is a hugely popular dark fantasy manga series, with over 30 million copies in circulation.

The protagonist, Denji, lives in poverty with his companion, the Chainsaw Devil Pochita, while trying to pay off the debt left behind by his father. A fateful event leads him to make a contract with Pochita, transforming him into “Chainsaw Man,” a human with the heart of a devil. From then on, Denji joins the Public Safety group as a devil hunter, fighting against powerful demons.

The series was adapted into a TV anime in 2022, and on September 19th, 2025, the film Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc began screening across Japan. Reze is a cheerful yet enigmatic girl who Denji first meets while taking shelter from the rain. Captivated by her, Denji starts frequenting the cafe where she works. The evolution of their relationship is a highlight of the film’s story.
