It’s Father’s Day today! Like Mother’s Day, this holiday originated from America. It is said that it first began when Sonora Dodd from Washington D.C. raised her wish of having a day to celebrate fathers like how mothers are celebrated at her ministerial alliance. Mother’s Day is symbolized a red carnation, while Father’s Day by a white rose. Also, there may be an image of Father’s Day being yellow in Japan.
