Breaking into the Biz? That Character? Idol Parodies

What if that character--who has zero inclination or relation to such in the original work--became an idol? That’s the inspiration behind these “idol parodies”. Re-imagining characters in another universe, the term “parallel” might be more appropriate, but alas, “parody” has become common and pixiv users have taken to calling them as such nonetheless. As well, there is a considerable range of different idol styles the parodies replicate, from existing idol-themed anime and games, to real life performers in the entertainment industry.
