As you slowly break open a brownish-purplish sweet potato, you can just make out its golden-colored flesh through the steam that wafts through the air. When you think about the food that most reflects autumn, the obvious choice is of course the roasted sweet-potato. Portable shops that sell sweet potatoes baked in hot stones roll around the front of your house, and unconsciously your hand reaches for your wallet as your run out to chase after them. As you devour your sweet potato, both the cold and your heart begin to melt.
