Magnificently Dancing on the Ice♡

Ice-skating competitions have recently been gaining attention, in no small part thanks to the popularity of the TV animation series Yuri!!! On ICE. The competitions that are receiving the most attention are figure-skating competitions, comprised of many different types of events, such as single-participant competitions (both men and women) as well as pair and ice-dancing competitions performed by a team of two (men and women). In addition, many other types of genres exist in ice-skating, for example speed-skating; so when someone uses the word “ice-skating”, it’s actually a general word that covers a lot of different categories in skating.
