Early Signal of the Coming of Spring, Plum Blossoms
Plum blossoms bloom when it starts to feel a little warm right before the cherry blossoms, known to be the main flower of spring, start blooming. In mid-January, when most trees are still bare without leaves or buds, red and pale yellow plum blossoms start blooming as if to say “winter’s over”. Even the flower language for plum blossoms being “chastity”, “faithful” and “patience” is a perfect description as they endure the cold winter and bloom. Right before the season of joy when new leaves sprout, why not enjoy looking at the colorful plum blossoms?
Today we are doing a special feature on illustrations with plum blossoms so enjoy!
