Fashion Starts from the Head! ♡ Headband x Girls
Do you know that the Japanese refer to headbands with the unique name of “Katyusha”?
The name is said to come from Tolstoy’s novel “Resurrection”, which was made into a theater play during the Taisho era. At the time, the “Song of Katyusha”, which was part of the play, became a big thing, and the name was since used to refer to headbands. So it basically comes from a Russian girl’s name!
Today we collected a series of illustrations portraying girls wearing headbands. From simple ones to ruffled katyushas, enjoy this feature!
