Holding Hands With Fingers Intertwined

The Japanese expression for holding hands with fingers intertwined is koibito tsunagi, or "lovers tie". Isn't it romantic? However, it's not only lovers who can hold hands like that. Friends and relatives are often portrayed like that too.
Intertwining fingers is a way to make sure the other person doesn't get away, and it really expresses the deep bond between two people.
