Like the spread wings of a duck, the "W" sitting position (or アヒル座り (ahiru suwari); duck sitting position) is when you sit on your bottoms with your knees bent and legs splayed out to the side. This position is also called the "plop" sitting position (ぺたん座り; petan suwari) for the plop sound one makes when they fall on their bottoms. It's also been said that it's easier for women to sit in this position because of the nature of their bone structure. When we see a graceful and adorable girl sitting in this position, we instinctively want to protect her because she just looks so innocent!
This time we have gathered some illustrations of girls sitting in the "W" position. Enjoy!
