The Magician of Backlighting. Be charmed with Rias' drawing of light

Sometimes we find ourselves wanting to apply light on a character we’re drawing in order to make their face stand out. But the artist Rias (リアス) possesses an enigmatic charm; they amplify the presence of their character without always relying on the techniques of light and shadow. Rias manages to masterfully produce depth in their artworks by creating a composition that charms our eyes with the bright and lit places before guiding our gaze to land on the character in the shadows.
