We are well aware that a robe is a type of cloak that is meant to cover the wearer's entire body and is usually donned by judges, priests, or students during their graduation ceremonies. In other words, there's something ceremonial about robes. In the fantasy genre, we often see robes being worn by magicians and witches. The long sleeves that sway along the wind every time they fly with their brooms or magic... If people could actually fly with magic, the way their robes dance in the air would be a real sight to behold!
