Narcissus Drawings - Get to know the sorrowful story behind these flowers.

The bloom of a narcissus flower decorates the straight stalk and emits an elegant sort of scent. Having several meanings including "self-love" and "come back to me",  the flower is named after Narcissus, a beautiful young boy in Greek mythology, because it is said that Narcissus died in a position that resembles the flower. Narcissus died after refusing to move because he fell in love with his own reflection on the surface of the water. Can you see his shadow when you see a narcissus flower which blooms like it's peering down at the ground?
