Introducing VOICEROID - A program for your voicing and singing needs!

VOICEROID is an application that can be used for voicing on video sites, as the main vocalist for independent composers, and more. This voice synthesis software uses AI Talk for reading text. Different characters have been created to match a variety of activities. More details below.

This VOICEROID uses the imagery of an adorable young girl and has been available since December 4th, 2009. Ai is the five-year-old younger sister of Shouta Tsukuyomi. She’s good at reading picture books out loud. 

Featuring the cute and clear voice of a young boy, this VOICEROID has been available since December 4th, 2009. Shouta is the seven-year-old older brother of Ai. Since she’s rather timid, he tries to protect her as much as he can. 

This VOICEROID has been nicknamed “Yoshida-roid”. It features the voice of the character Yoshida-kun from the anime series, “Eagle Talon”. He's been available since October 22nd, 2010. 

Using the voice actress, Tomoe Tamiyasu, as a base, this VOICEROID was released on November 12th, 2010. Her character is Tsurumaki Maki from Jam Band. This voice is frequently used in games and more. 

This VOICEROID features an adult female voice with a more emotional nuance. She was released simultaneously with the Yukari Yuzuki VOCALOID on December 22nd, 2011. She’s frequently used in games and often paired with fellow VOICEROID Tsurumaki Maki (also known as Tomoe Tamiyasu). 

With a warm and cuddly base that evokes a sense of cuteness, this VOICEROID was released on September 28th, 2012. Her character was created to help support the Tohoku region after the area was devastated by the 2011 earthquake. Her design features a zundamochi (a traditional Tohoku sweet using green soybean paste) motif. She has two sisters; Itako Tohoku and Kiritan Tohoku. 

The voice of Yui Sakakibara is used as a base for these twin VOICEROIDs. They were released on April 25th, 2014. The older sister, Akane, speaks in the Kansai Dialect, while the younger sister, Aoi, uses standard Japanese. They rose to fame when they were used by the artist, GYARI, in the song work “Nandemo Iu Koto wo Kiite-kureru Akane-chan”.

This VOICEROID features a male voice that is refreshingly easy to listen to. He was released on October 29th, 2015. As a Japanese language teacher, Kou is colleagues with the VOCALOID Kiyoteru Hiyama.

The Seika Kyoumachi VOICEROID uses the bright voice of Rika Tachibana as its base, making it easy to listen to. She was originally a PR character for the town of Seika, in Kyoto and she was made into a VOICEROID through crowdfunding. 

Created from the voice of voice actress Himika Akaneya, this VOICEROID was the second one made to help support the Tohoku region after the 2011 earthquake. She debuted on October 27th, 2016. Kiritan is calm and steady, but still cute. Her voice is often used in games. She’s siblings with Zunko Tohoku and Itako Tohoku. 

This VOICEROID uses the voice of Madoka Yonezawa and was released on December 22nd, 2017. Her tone is gentle and charming, making her a great option for games. She shares a birthday with fellow VOICEROID Yukari Yuzuki. 

Voice actress Kikuko Inoue served as the basis for this VOICEROID. She was simultaneously released on July 26th, 2018 with her VOCALOID version. Her tones are gentle and soft. 

This VOICEROID was made using the voice of voice actress Ibuki Kido. It was released on November 8th, 2018. She's the third VOICEROID character made in support of the Tohoku region. Her sisters are Zunko Tohoku and Kiritan Tohoku. 

Voice actress Mai Kadowaki serves as the base voice for this VOICEROID. The tone, available in both standard Japanese and the Kansai dialect, is bright and adorable. She was originally an internet project character that was crowdfunded to become a VOICEROID. 

With gentle, quiet tones that evoke deep emotions, this VOICEROID was released on February 27th, 2020. The character design has similarities with Akane & Aoi Kotonoha, as Yoshizaki Yoshida served as the designer for both projects. Yuzuru is the only other male VOICEROID character aside from Kou Minase.
