Summer Wars 10th Anniversary: Studio Chizu Drawing Contest's deadline is June 2nd! - The winning works will be exhibited at Japan Expo!

Please read all of these points and submit your illustration only after you have acknowledged them. Your submission through the method described in “How to Enter” will be regarded as your agreement to these important points.

(1) If your work, including your nickname, falls into the statements below, you will be disqualified. We will disqualify a work if the work is determined to be in violation of the rules even after having been selected as a winner.

・Works that violate the ownership rights of movic Co.,Ltd., Pixiv Inc., pixiv users and other third parties; as well as intellectual property rights, including copyright, privilege, trust, and other privacy rights.

・Works that contain obscenity, torture, discrimination, explicit sexual themes, and other elements that are potentially offensive.

・Works that violate public order and morals.

・Works that movic Co.,Ltd. deems aren’t public or are unsuitable for public display.

・Any works based on existing work/merchandise, work/merchandise scheduled to be released, work/merchandise that have already been submitted for other contests, or work/merchandise that have already won other contests.

・Works that have been submitted without complete and or false information.

・Works that Chizu Co., Ltd. finds disagreeable with adequate reason may also be disqualified.

(2) Applicants own all right to their artwork/creations, however, if a winning work is chosen, the rights and ownership will be transferred to Chizu Co., Ltd.

(3) The winner of this contest must not exercise author's personal rights toward Chizu Co., Ltd. or any third parties appointed by Chizu Co., Ltd.

(4) We will not contact the winner directly regarding the screening result. The result of this contest will be announced on pixiv. The winning works and the artists' pixiv nicknames will be posted on pixiv’s official social media accounts (including Twitter and Facebook) and website as well as the social media accounts and websites managed by Chizu Co., Ltd.

(5) Regardless of the screening result, all or some parts of the illustrations submitted for this contest, comments on the illustrations, as well as the artists’ nicknames on pixiv may be made public through pixiv's official social media accounts (including Twitter and Facebook), any website managed by Chizu Co., Ltd., written publications, and or events. Some parts of the illustration may be adapted or edited if necessary.

(6) Applicants who remove their entries during the contest will forfeit the contest and their work will no longer be accepted as an entry.

(7) movic Co.,Ltd. is not responsible for any expense that the applicant may incur to create and submit their illustration.

(8) All information that movic Co.,Ltd. receives during the application period will only be used for this contest as well as to contact the applicants during the screening process. Please note that movic Co.,Ltd. will protect the applicants' personal information according to their Privacy Policy.

(9) Our company may separately contact winning candidates regarding the screening process and procedures of accepting the prize. Please note that if we fail to receive a reply within a fixed period of time after we contacted you, we may not hand you the award or prize rewards.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The contest and its terms shall be governed by Japanese law. Furthermore, the Tokyo District Court shall be the mutually-agreed court for any proceedings, with jurisdiction for the preliminary trial in the case of any disputes over contest terms or matters between movic Co.,Ltd. or Chizu Co., Ltd. and the applicants.
