Spacesuits are designed to help protect you from the many perils of space. In addition to the void being a vacuum with no air, the temperature extremes, radiation, and simply just getting too far from your space-faring vessel can be equally dangerous, if not more. There’s something intriguing about the almost mecha-like look of space suits though, and the strong equipment looks almost reassuring.
