Characters who are twins can be incredibly similar in some ways and very different in others. At times it seems almost as if one could replace the other, but contrastive illustrations are also popular. These highlight the differences, but also do show some similarities. Sometimes creators will put them in situations that highlight their own unique characteristics, to showcase just how special twins can be.
