During the Edo era, there was a ukiyo-e print artist especially known for his portraits of kabuki actors and sumo wrestlers. Little was known about Toshusai Sharaku but he made over 140 printsa and his career lasted about 10 months. Maybe if you look up his prints, you may have seen it before!
